LEGRAND W. PERCE III
LeGrand W. Perce III, of Bedford, Pennsylvania, USA, served a two-year term as a director of The International Association of Lions Clubs following his election at the association's 75th International Convention, held in Hong Kong, China, June 23-26, 1992.
Past Director Perce is an attorney.
A member of the Bedford Lions Club since 1963, Past Director Perce has held many positions within the association, including club president, zone chairman, deputy district governor, district governor and council chairman. He served as chairman and vice chairman of the International Convention Credentials Committee and has been a presenter at seven USA/Canada Lions Leadership forums.
In recognition of his service to the association, Past Director Perce has received numerous awards, including the 100% District Governor Award, six International President's Awards and the Ambassador of Good Will Award, the highest honor the association can grant to its members. He is a Key Member, a Life Member and a Melvin Jones Fellow.
Active in many community organizations, Past Director Perce is a former Emergency Management Agency Director for his county, past president of the American Lung Association of the South Alleghenies, member of the National American Lung Association Council, president of the South Alleghenies Legal Aid Corporation and an instructor for the American Association of Retired Persons 55-Alive Safe Driving. He has received several awards in recognition of his civic service.
