     Theodore T. Fusco, of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, USA, was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of The International Association of Lions Clubs at the association's 72nd annual convention, held in Miami/Miami Beach, Florida, USA, June 21-24, 1989.

     Past Director Fusco is a builder and land developer.

     A Lion and member of the Northeast Philadelphia Lions Club since 1959, Past Director Fusco has held a number of positions within the association including club president, zone chairman, deputy district governor and district governor. He is also a past president of Pennsylvania Lions Eye Bank of Delaware Valley and past director of Lions Beacon Lodge for the blind. He was the host chairman of the 1984 USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forum, and is president of Lions Camp Kirby for the deaf/hearing impaired.

     In recognition of his service to the association, Past Director Fusco has received numerous awards including two Extension Awards, the 100% Club President Award, the Dr. Rilling Award, 100% District Governor Award, 13 Certificate of Appreciation Awards, six International

     President's Awards and the Ambassador of Good Will Award, the highest honor the association bestows upon its members. Past Director Fusco is also a Melvin Jones Fellow.

     In addition to his Lion activities, Past Director Fusco is a member of several business, professional and fraternal organizations.

     Past Director Fusco and his wife, Rita, have three daughters and four grandchildren.
