Lions and Lionesses of PA,
I hope this message finds you safe and in good health. I am honored to be appointed by the Council of Governors to serve as the Pennsylvania Lions, Childhood Cancer Coordinator! I look forward to continuing what was started and work with many of you to build additional relationships as well.
As the Lion year comes close to an end, I ask you to review our goals for the year. Although there are many needs in our individual communities, there are also physical restrictions under the statewide disaster emergency, which limits how we may serve others during these stressful times.
There is a way we can help others from the safety of our homes. Please remember the battle against cancer does not pause during the Coronavirus pandemic. Four Diamonds helps children fighting cancer. As the Lions began our relationship with Four Diamonds a few short years ago, we continue to grow our partnership.
Please consider taking the challenge with other Lions and Lionesses across the state. Let’s work together to meet our statewide goal and help patients and families living with the daily fight against cancer. This will allow us to SERVE others while we are staying safe at home.
Thank you for anything you are able to do. Every dollar gets us closer to our goal!
I hope to see you at Lions Club events in the near future when life is back to “normal”.
