The front cover of this third issue of The Pride of Pennsylvania features the first-place entry in this year’s MD-14 Peace Poster Contest designed by Jianna Kim, a 12-year-old, seventh grader at Germantown Academy
in Lansdale. Jianna’s entry was sponsored by the South Philadelphia Lions Club and won District 14-A honors prior to being selected by the PA State Council of Lions Club’s Council of Governors as the statewide winner. Her entry was subsequently selected by Lions Clubs International judges to be a Merit Award winner. Please turn to page 10 to see the top six finishers in this year’s MD-14 contest.
